Starting at Shorewood park and ending downtown at the state street bridge.<br><br>The fireworks display will start at 9:30 p m from the jefferson street bridge.<br><br>For those not wanting to venture downtown, the ski Bronx have a show and then Rockford Country Club has a spectacular fireworks display, starting around 9:30 also.<br><br>The concession stand at Shorewood park will be open early&nbsp; and after the ski show.<br><br>I have had a conversation with the sheriff about a growing problem of jet skis &#8216;out past sunset.<br><br>Jet skis are not allowed on the water after sunset in illinois, even though some people think putting flashing lights on their jet ski makes them legal. <br>There&#8217;s a difference between being a little late to the boat ramp and being out too late.<br>Sheriff&#8217;s deputies will be issuing tickets to try and curb this problem. Before an accident occurs.<br><br>Also, if you have a pontoon boat, make sure you&#8217;re bimini light is tipped up, so it is visible from 360\u00b0.<br><br>Keeping our river safe is the responsibility of all of us river users.<br><br>Let&#8217;s all have a safe, fun 4th of July weekend on the Rock River.<br><br>The new rockness&nbsp; monster is available for the communities viewing pleasure as of this week.<br><br>We needed a ladder to install the facial features on this one.
