{"id":872,"date":"2025-07-05T09:37:52","date_gmt":"2025-07-05T15:37:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rockriverhomeowners.org\/?p=872"},"modified":"2025-07-05T09:38:12","modified_gmt":"2025-07-05T15:38:12","slug":"4th-of-july-holiday-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rockriverhomeowners.org\/index.php\/2025\/07\/05\/4th-of-july-holiday-update\/","title":{"rendered":"4th of July Holiday Update"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Back the blue day River update: <br><br>Current River temperature is 82\u00b0. <br><br>Current river level is 5 ft at Latham which is up a little bit from yesterday. <br><br>Thank you Edgerton dam operator for giving us back a little bit of drought water.<br><br>The parade kicks off at 2:00 p.m. Sharp from the ski Bronx area and heads downstream to the State Street bridge. <br><br>Perfect weather and a breeze out of the South to keep us cool and make the flags fly proudly. <br><br>We typically average around 100 boats for this event and with your help and mother nature&#8217;s beautiful weather let&#8217;s try and make it 150 today. <br><br>This is a show of support for law enforcement, first responders and our military. <br><br>The beaches were full of boaters yesterday from Roscoe to rockford. <br><br>Look forward to seeing everyone out on the water again today. <br><br>Tad&#8217;s on the rock will be rocking tonight with the Stevie nicks band. <br><br>Approximately 9:30 tonight there will be a very nice fireworks display about a half a mile North of the Latham bridge. <br><br>Look forward to seeing all the families out on the River today enjoying Winnebago county&#8217;s greatest asset and honoring men and women of law enforcement. <br><br>Be safe everyone and make it back to the dock safe and sound.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Back the blue day River update: Current River temperature is 82\u00b0.
