If mother nature would just warm things up a bit for us to go boating.<br><br>Drought level is 4 feet at Latham, and no wake level is 8 feet at latham.<br><br>With all the rain projected in the next week, i&#8217;m sure water levels will be rising a little.<br><br>Looks like the sheriff will be making some adjustments to the dam. As needed based on rainfall in our basin.<br><br>Mostly fishing boats out on the weekends taking advantage of our the greatest community asset.<br>Mostly flotsam and jetsam in the river these days, not much big stuff is being unlodged from shore at the current river level.<br><br>The good news is, drought has been lifted for northern Illinois and southern wisconsin, so the farmers should be having a good planting season.<br><br>The grass has turned green this past week, and the trees are all starting to bud.<br><br>Fingers crossed.
