Current River temperature is 81°.
River levels are going down due to the lack of rain in our basin.
4.6 at Latham which is about 7 in above the 4 ft drought level.
The grass is starting to turn brown so hopefully mother nature will rain down on us soon.
We’re all hoping it will be at night to not affect our boating plans this weekend.
If you are out with the family shorewood park has a fresh coating of sand on the beach area for the kids to play in.
The ski Bronx will be hosting division 2 national tournament next Saturday and Sunday which will impose some River restrictions.

When I was down spreading the sand this morning with my bobcat I came across a Zumba dance class that meets there every Friday morning at 9:00 a.m.
Great group of ladies that were very nice to talk to.
If you’re looking for an exercise event outdoors you should go down and join them next Friday at the ski Bronx site.
The homeowners association purchased some magnetic tall signs for our bridges.
My crew went out and installed four of them on The 2 Middle center bridge spans at Auburn Street.
They also installed them on the State Street and Chestnut Street Bridges which are the far East spans.
I know if you’re like me it can be a little stressful with the Bimini top up approaching these low bridges.
Although if we don’t get much rain soon clearance won’t be an issue because the river is going to continue to drop.
City market is tonight downtown weather permitting.
I know tads has music Saturday night and Sunday afternoon to enjoy.
The days have started getting shorter so make time to get out and enjoy Winnebago county’s greatest asset, our beautiful Rock river.
Drive defensively and make it back to the dock safe and sound.
