Current River temperature is 71°.
Well what a difference a couple inches of rain this past week made for our grass and our River level.
Currently at Latham bridge the gauge reads 5.7 ft which is up a foot from last week.
ComEd did make a gate adjustment to compensate for the increased water flow this week.
When area creeks and streams get a surge of water there is a little bit of debris that ends up floating down the river.
You might encounter sporadic small debris if you are out boating this weekend.
Nothing to be alarmed about just be observant as to what’s ahead of your boat when you are traveling.
City market is tonight in downtown and the public boat docks went in this week at water street.
With a chance of rain Saturday and Sunday what better time than load up the boat and go downtown with your friends to enjoy the market or all the restaurants.
The doc also went in at Nicholas conservatory if you are interested in attending food truck Tuesday next week.
Hope to have the burpee dock in by next Wednesday if you are interested in going down and listening to some good jazz free of charge.
