Weekend Update 8/8/25

Current River temperature is 78°

Current river level is 4.5 at Latham.
This means the river is continuing to fall with the lack of rain.

We’re about 6 in above drought level.

The canal at sportscore is just under 3 ft deep.

Looks like we have a weekend and first part of next week with the chance for River replenishing rain events to help replenish our River levels hopefully.

A homeowner contracted us to remove a tree that had been in the river after snapping off his shoreline this week.

2 years of trees had collected on the jam and we were able to get those out of the river as well.

Tonight looks like the best night for boating without rain.

Make it a point to take the family and friends out to visit City market tonight.

Prairie Street and Tad’s bar are also a good place to get some food by boat.

The Davis Park construction project has not started yet.

The large dock is still in place and if you’ve never gone down to embassy suites you don’t know what you’re missing.

The days are getting shorter so make it a point to get out and enjoy this beautiful weather and our greatest asset.

Safe boating everyone and make it back to the dock safe and sound.
