4th of July Holiday Update

Back the blue day River update:

Current River temperature is 82°.

Current river level is 5 ft at Latham which is up a little bit from yesterday.

Thank you Edgerton dam operator for giving us back a little bit of drought water.

The parade kicks off at 2:00 p.m. Sharp from the ski Bronx area and heads downstream to the State Street bridge.

Perfect weather and a breeze out of the South to keep us cool and make the flags fly proudly.

We typically average around 100 boats for this event and with your help and mother nature’s beautiful weather let’s try and make it 150 today.

This is a show of support for law enforcement, first responders and our military.

The beaches were full of boaters yesterday from Roscoe to rockford.

Look forward to seeing everyone out on the water again today.

Tad’s on the rock will be rocking tonight with the Stevie nicks band.

Approximately 9:30 tonight there will be a very nice fireworks display about a half a mile North of the Latham bridge.

Look forward to seeing all the families out on the River today enjoying Winnebago county’s greatest asset and honoring men and women of law enforcement.

Be safe everyone and make it back to the dock safe and sound.
